I really like this tool to count works in PDF and Office files (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
I regularly quote based on word count, and for PDFs this is a great tool. Simple, light, complete.

I have use this to check well-formatted LaTeX documents as PDFs and then checked it after unpacking the PDF document into Word. As best as I can tell, this product is spot-on with its calculations. Thanks so much.

Have been using it for quite a while (would say 3 or 4 years at least), and I find it very useful for when a client sends a PDF file requesting a quote to be made on it, so I don't waste time trying to convert it. When a PDF is saved as an image it doesn't work, of course, but that also happens with the converter, so CountAnything has been my word counter of choice so far. I now need to download it again because I migrated to a new PC.

How could I report a bug in this otherwise very nice program? I counts a pdf file with about 1800 words as containing only 130 word, so I cannot trust it.
